Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers to create a welcoming environment.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
• Understand POS systems and handle multiple tenders (cash, checks, credit/debit, SNAP EBT, coupons).
• Maintain loss prevention by following cash handling limits and company policies.
• Follow guidelines for restricted items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs) and adhere to safety practices.
• Inform management of pricing discrepancies and participate in store policies.
