Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Six months cashier experience to work at Customer Service Desk.
• Minimum 18 years of age (19 in some states) and ability to pass drug test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and weekends/holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and encourage others to deliver excellent customer service.
• Perform cashier functions including open/close register, ring sales, and process tenders.
• Maintain cleanliness of checkstand area and respond to store alarms.
• Answer telephones and comply with corporate policies.
• Process refunds, exchanges, money orders, bill pay, gift cards, and other desk services.
• Provide lottery service (where permitted) and licenses.
• Open and close the service desk and handle lost and found.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and manage conflicts constructively.
