Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers in the store.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
• Understand and operate the POS system and handle cash, checks, credit/debit, and relevant benefits/payments per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention policies.
• Follow guidelines for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs) and promotions.
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
• Follow policies for stamps, gift cards and coupons, and stay updated on ads.
