Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Cashier (Customer Service Associate) at our Fredericksburg store to deliver friendly, efficient service from greeting guests to processing transactions and returns.

You will operate the POS system, handle refunds and exchanges, stock and tag merchandise, assist customers with project questions, and help ensure a safe, welcoming shopping environment for both full-time and part-time teammates.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Knowledge of basic math skills.
Customer service experience required.
Potential travel to other stores for support.

Responsibilities

Greet every customer in a helpful and courteous manner.
Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products and excite customers about their purchase.
Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations.
Demonstrate and understand compliance with the company’s safety processes.
Process customers at checkout using the POS system.
Process customer refunds and exchanges according to guidelines.
Open and close registers.
Follow cash, check and credit card procedures.
Answer the telephone according to the company guidelines.
Stock, tag and display merchandise as required.
Be able to create price tags and merchandise signs.
