Job summary

Mechanics Bank is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative II at our Kent, WA branch. You will handle new accounts, teller duties, and customer relationships with a focus on meeting financial needs and delivering an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities include profiling customers, cross-selling suitable products, and balancing daily transactions while maintaining accurate records and strong compliance. A high school diploma is required; banking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years cash handling and customer service experience.
• Banking experience preferred.
• Experience opening new deposit accounts preferred.
• Demonstrated success in cross-selling banking services and products.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and ownership of the customer experience.
• Open and close customer accounts (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs).
• Perform teller duties: deposits, withdrawals, holds, transfers, etc.
• Balance cash drawer and maintain over/short records per policy.
• Support branch lobby management and cross-sell products.
• Assist in community events and maintain professional attitude.
