Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member to interact with customers and teammates, support selling initiatives, and complete assigned tasks to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, uncovering needs, recommending products, and handling sales at the register. You may perform merchandising, stocking, and cleaning, with duties varying by location and shift. Physical tasks are common.

Qualifications

• Experience: No experience required. Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Regardless of education level, Team Members must be able to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet the Customer and uncover needs & wants.
• Recommend product solutions and ask to add value & appreciate the customer.
• Operate cash register/computer following cash handling procedures.
• Recovery of merchandise and participate in mandatory freight process.
• Complete Plan‑o‑gram procedures (merchandising, sets, and resets).
• Assemble merchandise and perform janitorial duties.
• Execute price changes/markdowns.
• Operate forklift and cardboard baler (where age allows).
• Assist customers with loading purchases.
• Ensure a Legendary shopping experience and bird safety where applicable.
