Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Fort Payne, AL is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our store team and deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage sales transactions at the register, maintain a clean, well-stocked store, and keep areas safe and welcoming.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior retail or service experience. You should be able to lift 30–50 lbs, walk and stand for extended periods, follow instructions, and

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
Receive merchandise and support stock replenishment per productivity standards.
Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and teammates.
Keep the store clean, restrooms stocked, floors swept and mopped, and trash removed.
