Job summary

Michaels in MOHEGAN LAKE, NY is hiring for a friendly retail team member. You will help customers, locate products, and ensure a quick checkout with accurate cash handling. You’ll enroll customers in the Rewards program and assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes.

The role involves merchandising, stock replenishment, and adherence to store policies while maintaining a welcoming, inclusive environment for shoppers and teammates.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go backs
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact respectfully with customers and team members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
