Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Michigan LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales transactions at the register, keep the store stocked, and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.

The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and friendly interactions with customers and staff. The position involves standing, walking, occasional lifting, and providing excellent service while following store procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking and standing
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required
• Strong organizational and communication skills required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and waste management
• Perform other duties as assigned
