Job summary

Family Dollar in Wilson, NC is hiring a Part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver friendly assistance at the register and on the floor.

You will help customers, stock shelves, receive shipments, and maintain a clean, safe store environment while upholding company policies and providing a positive shopping experience. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail or hospitality preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Capable of lifting 30–50 lbs and frequent standing.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Good organizational and communication abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and stock replenishment per standards.
• Uphold a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Keep store clean, including bathrooms and floors.
