Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Pennsylvania LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment in the Sharon area.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Part-time schedule with responsibilities across merchandising and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail or service experience highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climb, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment as per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professionalism toward customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
