Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Pennsylvania LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers and ensure a great shopping experience. You’ll assist with questions, manage transactions, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and welcoming.

The role requires a friendly, reliable team player with good communication and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Prior retail or service experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean and presentable, including bathrooms and floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
