Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Pennsylvania LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to create a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help keep the store stocked and clean, while upholding safety and courtesy.

The role may involve unloading trucks, stock replenishment, and maintaining a positive environment for customers and staff. Part-time position located in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or related field highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Perform store upkeep such as cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping areas neat.
• Other duties as assigned.
