Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, keep the store stocked, and help unload merchandise. The role emphasizes friendly interactions and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Experience in retail or similar settings is preferred, with a high school diploma or equivalent. Part-time hours and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neatness.
