Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

Responsibilities include unloading merchandise, restocking shelves, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for customers and teammates. Prior retail or service experience is preferred, with strong communication and organizational skills essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms
• Other duties as assigned
