Job summary

Dollar Tree in Chowchilla, CA is seeking a part-time team member to assist customers, operate the cash register, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, safe store environment. You’ll help unload trucks, manage merchandise, and provide friendly service in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent standing, walking, bending and climbing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, and trash areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
