Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Bakersfield store and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Physical ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect assets.
• Keep store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
