Job summary

Aafes is seeking a Customer Experience Associate – PowerZone (Electronics) to help customers find the right electronics and enjoy a fun, informative shopping experience. You’ll share knowledge of handheld devices, TVs, and gaming while staying current on tech trends.

The role offers flexible scheduling, benefits, PTO, and a path to growth within the Exchange, including DoD employee status and transit programs.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or the equivalent.
• Retail experience, demonstrated willingness, and potential for additional responsibility.
• 12 months Retail Electronic experience preferred.
• 12 months Retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with eye contact and smile.
• Acknowledge every waiting customer in the electronics area.
• Listen to customer needs and ask follow-up questions to meet needs.
• Ensure customers have an extraordinary experience while shopping.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers.

As a Customer Experience Associate in Electronics, you know that the right digital device can help make our customer's lives easier. As a PowerZone team member, your technology expertise and dedication to the digital world will educate and excite customers on all things electronic. You'll know which gadgets will meet customer's needs and stay up to date on the latest technology trends. With your digital knowledge and helpful suggestions, customers will continue to shop the Exchange the next time the newest gadget arrives.

• Acknowledge every waiting customer as soon as they arrive to the electronics area to let them know you’ll be right with them
• Listen to customer needs; ask appropriate follow-up questions to ensure you offer appropriate products that meet the specific need of the customer
• Ensure customers have an extraordinary experience while shopping
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers in appropriate conversation
