Job summary

Army & Air Force Exchange Service is seeking a Customer Experience Associate – PowerZone (Electronics) to greet customers, assess needs, and recommend electronics that fit individual preferences. You will help shoppers explore devices and stay current on tech trends.

You’ll deliver friendly, efficient service, handle transactions, and support team members as needed in a fast-paced retail environment on base. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or the equivalent.
• Retail electronics experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with eye contact and a smile.
• Acknowledge waiting customers in the electronics area promptly.
• Listen to customer needs and ask follow‑ups to recommend suitable products.
• Ensure customers have an extraordinary shopping experience.

With your digital knowledge and helpful suggestions, customers will continue to shop the Exchange the next time the newest gadget arrives.

• Acknowledge every waiting customer as soon as they arrive to the electronics area to let them know you’ll be right with them
• Listen to customer needs; ask appropriate follow-up questions to ensure you offer appropriate products that meet the specific needs of the customer
• Ensure customers have an extraordinary experience while shopping
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers in appropriate conversation
