Qualifications

• Ability to monitor activity inside store and at gas pumps.
• Capable of operating microwaves, small ovens and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain composure under stress during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide a customer-first attitude with immediate attention to each customer.
• Participate in promotions and company programs to boost sales.
• Complete company-sponsored training within specified periods.
• Complete specialized training on food prep, handling, and storage.
• Know weekly/monthly promotions and suggest items to customers to increase sales.
• Receive payments and provide correct change as needed.
• Operate cash register, credit card scanners, lottery machines and related equipment.
• Monitor gas pumps to ensure safe fueling and correct transactions.
• Prepare deli orders accurately and promptly.
• Follow Serve-Safe standards and recipes; control waste and spoilage.
• Read alpha/numeric data on registers and documents accurately.
• Ensure temperature logs for food/equipment are completed timely.
