Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member to interact with customers and team members, support selling initiatives, and perform assigned tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

The role requires availability for varied shifts, ability to handle merchandise and operate store equipment, and a commitment to safety and high-quality service. Training and certifications may be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• No experience required; retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read, write and count accurately.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts including varied hours, days, nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Deliver legendary customer service using GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, Add value, Appreciate customers.
• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Recovery of merchandise and participation in freight process.
• Complete plan-o-gram procedures, assemble merchandise, and perform janitorial duties.
• Execute price changes/markdowns and load purchases for customers.
• Ensure safety and well-being of birds and maintain poultry holding tanks.
• Complete all documentation and any other duties as assigned.
