Job summary

Talentify is hiring a Field Service Technician to support customer sites within the service area. You may be dispatched daily on call or follow a set daily schedule, with occasional nights and weekend shifts.

Expect lifting of 1–50 lbs, travel as needed, and use of basic tools. A high school diploma is required, and an associate degree is preferred. Reliable transportation and a smartphone are needed to receive work orders.

• Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude required.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites as needed within service area.
• Respond to work orders on a call-by-call basis or with a daily schedule.
• Carry and use basic tools; lift 1–50 lb when required.

Pay Range - $18.00 to $21.00 per hour on W2.

Job Description

The Field Service Technician position may require the following:

• May require bending/squatting, walking/standing /sitting for prolonged periods.
• May require prolonged travel based on your service area.
• Carry and or lift a tool kit/parts of varying weights (1- 50 lbs.)
• You may be dispatched daily on a call-by-call basis or have a daily schedule.
• You may be required to work on rotating shifts, nights, and or weekends.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent 0-1 years of related experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• A smart phone to receive work orders on and access support documentation. Android or iPhone.
• Have basic tools: Tools are not supplied. #1 and #2 flathead and philips screw drivers are most common.

Required Availability, Experience, and Skillset

• Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, overtime, flex shifts, and on-call.
• Must have a high level of personal integrity and work well with minimal supervision.
• Must have Basic Electrical and Mechanical aptitude, skillset, and knowledge.
• Must have good problem-solving skills, be able to pick up new skills quickly, and work well under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

• An associate degree is preferred.
• Previous experience with Client or similar equipment is preferred.
