Responsibilities

• Reaching out to assigned Dealer sales reps by phone, text, email, and professional social media on a consistent follow-up schedule.
• Promoting Rockland products, services, and programs, and identifying opportunities where Rockland isn’t being quoted.
• Building relationships with Dealer reps and learning their customers, product focus, and preferred contact methods.
• Handing off engaged reps and quote opportunities to the assigned Rockland sales representative.
• Keeping contact lists, outreach, and opportunities up to date in CRM and reporting on engagement and handoffs.
• Building knowledge of Rockland products and applications through training and self-study.

What Would You Be Doing?

Our Customer Engagement Specialist keeps Rockland top-of-mind with Dealer sales reps. You’ll build relationships, spot missed quote opportunities, and hand off engaged reps to our Rockland sales team to help drive revenue.

Essential Functions:

•Reaching out to assigned Dealer sales reps by phone, text, email, and professional social media on a consistent follow-up schedule

•Promoting Rockland products, services, and programs, and identifying opportunities where Rockland isn’t being quoted

•Building relationships with Dealer reps and learning their customers, product focus, and preferred contact methods

•Handing off engaged reps and quote opportunities to the assigned Rockland sales representative

•Keeping contact lists, outreach, and opportunities up to date in CRM and reporting on engagement and handoffs

•Building your knowledge of Rockland products and applications through training and self-study

What will you need?

•Experience in customer engagement, inside sales, business development, customer service, or a similar role

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•Strong relationship-building, organization, and follow-through skills

•Comfort communicating by phone, text, email, CRM, and professional social media

•Construction equipment, manufacturing, or distribution experience preferred

•Outbound prospecting, social selling, or CRM experience preferred
