Job summary

KLA is seeking a technical applications specialist to support the development and deployment of products in customer fabrication facilities, lead product presentations, and translate customer needs into detailed specifications.

You will implement installation plans, train customers, and address complex problems via data analysis and collaboration with customers and internal experts; strong organization and communication are essential.

• Provides follow-up support in training customers and disseminating technical information on specific applications
• Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation, design of experiments, and communication between customers and specialists
• Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• MS / Ph.D. preferred in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Optics, Material Science or a related field.
• Candiate should have experience in the semiconductor fabrication industry, or equivalent experience and education
• Candiate must be well organized and professional with strong project management skills - including the ability to manage numerous projects at once
• Candiate shows persistence and dedication to understanding and solving critical customer problems
• Candiate will have strong analytical problem solving skills
• Teamwork is critical so having a good balance between technical skills and people skills is a must.
• Experience with Data analysis tools (Excel, JMP or equivalent)
• Semiconductor device application and characterization
• Photolithography and Overlay (IBO, DBO, SEM -OVL)
• Familiar with cleanroom protocols.

Base Pay Range

Base Pay Range: $83,100.00 - $141,300.00 Annually
