Job summary

Liberty Bank in North Haven is seeking a Universal Banker to deliver an exceptional customer experience and drive growth across banking products. You will act as a proactive team member, greeting customers, resolving inquiries, and expanding relationships through active discovery conversations.

You will collaborate with other branches and internal teams to resolve operational issues, educate customers on digital channels, and balance transactions while ensuring compliance with bank policies.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of Retail Banking or equivalent Sales experience.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to discover needs and enhance customer relationships.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow policies.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Sound decision-making balancing risk and customer experience.
• Ability to foster a positive team/work environment.
• Willingness to work weekends or extended hours as required.
• NMLS registration under the SAFE Act of 2008.

Responsibilities

• Actively greet customers and provide a differentiated experience.
• Resolve account service issues and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Meet and exceed personal sales goals across banking products.
• Use Discovery Guide to uncover opportunities and recommend solutions.
• Balance and process a variety of banking transactions accurately.
• Educate customers on digital banking options.
• Communicate with interdepartmental contacts to resolve issues.
• Document activities and follow up opportunities in banking systems.
• Support branch sales and operations through proactive planning.
