Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must demonstrate interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to follow plan-o-gram/guidance for displays and merchandising.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills and transactions handling.
• Ability to operate IBM cash register functions.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Receive, open, unpack cartons, and place items on shelves or stock room.
• Build and rotate merchandise displays and face items on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise and assist customers locating items.
• Operate cash register, total purchases, and give change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean store areas and help set up sidewalk/front displays.
