Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to serve as the point of contact for shoppers, help maintain plan-o-grams, stock shelves and assist customers on the sales floor. You will unload trucks, build displays, rotate stock and support cashier operations to ensure efficient store performance.

Ideal candidates bring strong interpersonal skills, basic math and cash handling knowledge, and the ability to follow company merchandising guidance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to read plan-o-gram and merchandising guidance.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; stock store as directed.
• Build and stock merchandise displays and rotate stock.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and bag purchases; handle payments.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean store areas and reset sidewalk displays as needed.
