Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to be the primary point of contact for customers, stock and maintain plan-o-grams, and operate the checkout area. You will support merchandising, stocking, and customer assistance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, building displays, restocking, handling sales at the register, and assisting with inventory using handheld scanners. High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; store in stock room or stock floor.
• Build and stock displays; rotate and face merchandise.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and process payments; bag merchandise.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
