Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Associate to act as the point of contact for customers, stock merchandise, and maintain plan-o-grams. You will unload trucks, build displays, greet customers, and operate the cash register to complete transactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with plan-o-grams and merchandising guidance is helpful.
• Basic cash handling knowledge and numeracy are required.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Assist customers in locating items and answer questions.
• Build and stock displays; rotate and face merchandize on shelves.
• Operate cash register and process payments; bag items and give change.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; follow policies and procedures.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using scanners when needed.
