Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is recruiting for a Team Member to interact with customers and teammates, supporting selling initiatives and completing assigned tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, uncovering needs, recommending products, and operating the POS system. You will assist with loading purchases, maintain merchandising, and ensure poultry safety where applicable.

Qualifications

• No experience required. Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Regardless of education level, Team Members must be able to read, write and count accurately.
• Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and uncover needs.
• Recommend product solutions and ask to add value.
• Operate cash register/computer following cash handling procedures.
• Carry out merchandising tasks (Plan-o-grams) and assemble merchandise.
• Maintain poultry holding tanks and care for birds.
