Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member to engage with customers, support selling initiatives, and complete tasks to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience. The role requires flexibility across shifts and stores, with focus on service, merchandising, and safety of birds as needed.

As a Team Member, you will greet customers, identify needs, and recommend products, while handling transactions and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• Experience: No experience required; retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required; reading, writing and counting abilities needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet the Customer.
• Uncover Customer’s Needs & Wants.
• Recommend Product Solutions.
• Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
• Operate cash register/computer following cash handling procedures.
• Recovery of merchandise.
• Complete Plan-o-gram procedures (merchandising, sets, and resets).
• Assemble merchandise.
• Perform janitorial duties.
• Execute price changes/markdowns.
• Operate forklift (unless under 18).
• Assist customers with loading purchases.
• Ensure a Legendary customer experience.
