Job summary

Dollar General is hiring for a store associate to be the point of contact for customers, stock shelves, and maintain plan-o-grams and displays. You will greet customers, assist with locating merchandise, and operate the cash register to complete transactions.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, cleaning, and following company policies while delivering strong customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and unpack cartons; stock merchandise.
• Build and stock displays; rotate and face merchandise on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise and keep shelves tidy.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Greet customers and operate the cash register to total purchases.
• Collect payments and bag merchandise; make change as needed.
• Assist with ordering using hand-held scanners.
• Keep store clean and set up sidewalk displays when needed.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
