Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Sales Associate to be a friendly point of contact for customers in our store. You will help customers locate and purchase merchandise, operate the cash register, and assist with stocking and merchandising to maximize sales.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow planogram and merchandising guides.
• Basic cash handling and math skills.
• Ability to operate a cash register and scanner.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases and make change.
• Unpack, stock, restock, rotate merchandise, and build displays.
• Clean store, take out trash, dust and mop floors, and maintain cleanliness.
