Job summary

Heritage Bank’s Longview Branch seeks a Bank Teller to deliver exceptional customer service while handling routine transactions and supporting branch sales efforts. The role is fully onsite in Longview, WA, with a schedule Monday–Friday 8:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.

Level I/II pay scales apply, with travel to supporting counties as needed. The ideal candidate has 6 months of customer service or 1 year of cash handling experience, a high school diploma, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 6 months customer service experience (Level I).
• 1 year cash handling & customer service experience in financial services (Level II).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• DNA or Fiserv knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains strong relationships and provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Performs routine paying/receiving duties and maintains an accurate cash drawer.
• Promotes, explains, and refers bank products and services based on customer needs.
• Maintains confidentiality with customer requests and transactions.
• Complies with policies, procedures, security and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in branch marketing and sales promotions.
• Contributes to team by performing branch administrative duties as required.
