About the Position

The Customer Development Manager 1 is responsible for managing and strengthening category-level relationships with customers. This role focuses on executing business plans, driving category growth, and ensuring alignment with corporate policies. It also involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams

and serving as a key liaison between the company and its customers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Primary Responsibilities #LI-AV1

  • Responsible for the development/execution of category business planning with the customer (including the selling assortment, new product execution, pricing, in-store merchandising and promotion plans) in the achievement of scorecard targets.
  • Provide category-level customer expertise.
  • Ensures customer compliance with corporate policies (@ category-level).

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Sales or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Sales or related field – Desired
  • 4 or more years of experience in Customer Development/Support
  • Exposure to multiple channels and facets of the organization
  • Experience in selling or a demonstrated ability to have positive interrelationships with customers

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both customers and internal leadership.
