Job summary

Baxter Healthcare is seeking a Customer Data Steward to maintain accuracy, integrity, and quality of customer data across Baxter's systems. You will partner with stakeholders to ensure records are accurate, compliant, and integrated to support operational excellence and customer success.

You will drive data governance initiatives, review records, establish data standards, and identify process improvements to enhance data accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years in data management, customer master data, data governance, or a related field.
• Functional knowledge of data concepts, data governance principles, and data quality practices.
• Ability to create and maintain data definitions and understand data flow processes.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Steward customer data across the organization, ensuring accuracy, completeness, integrity, and compliance with regulatory and governmental requirements.
• Maintain and support data governance policies, procedures, and standards for customer master data.
• Review, validate, and update customer records to ensure data is accurate, complete, and properly maintained.
• Manage customer data hierarchies to ensure records are linked and integrated across systems and applications.
• Establish and maintain data standards and best practices to drive consistency and quality across the organization.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve data issues and support ongoing data management needs.
• Monitor data quality, identify discrepancies, and take corrective action to improve data accuracy.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and data integrity.
• Support the adoption of new systems, processes, and tools related to customer data management.
