Job summary

American Bank & Trust is seeking a friendly Universal Banker to join our Retail team. You will welcome customers, provide outstanding service, and help people find the right banking solutions.

You'll process deposits and withdrawals, open new accounts, balance cash, and assist with branch operations while building lasting relationships with customers. Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus, with bilingual pay premium for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of customer service experience required.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Experience in a professional financial environment preferred.
• Cash handling and transactional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide exceptional service.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, and other transactions accurately.
• Open new accounts and help customers find suitable banking solutions.
• Build relationships and connect customers with products and services.
• Answer questions, solve problems, and support branch operations.
• Balance cash drawer and assist with vault balancing.
• Support teammates and foster a positive branch culture.
• Follow security procedures and maintain customer confidentiality.
