Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of customer service experience, including data entry and cash handling.
• Proven verbal communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
• Well-organized with strong time management and prioritization.
• Proficient with internet-based technology and common software.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to branch customers and resolve routine issues promptly.
• Educate customers through shoulder-to-shoulder digital demonstrations and identify self-service opportunities.
• Greet customers in lobby, engage proactively, and address immediate needs.
• Process cash and other transactions accurately following bank policy.
• Log and escalate complaints; ensure AML/KYC compliance where applicable.
• Support branch operations (cash orders, vault, ATM, wires) as needed.
• Promote M&T Bank brand and maintain risk controls and audit readiness.
