Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to act as the point of contact for customers, stock merchandise, and maintain plan‑o‑grams. You will unload trucks, build displays, stock and facing shelves, and assist customers with locating items while ensuring a clean, organized store environment.

Responsibilities include operating the POS system, processing payments, and assisting with merchandise ordering using handheld scanners.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; stock in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays.
• Stock, rotate and face shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Bail cardboard and manage trash; clean floors, restrooms, and stockroom.
• Greet customers and comply with policies.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise; collect payment and give change.
• Assist with merchandise ordering using handheld scanners.
