Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-of-gram guidelines.
• Experience with basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic math skills for checkout and pricing.
• Familiarity with IBM cash register functions.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise on the sales floor.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; store or stock.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Operate a cash register, total purchases and give change.
• Assist with ordering using handheld scanners and keep front end clean.
• Greet customers and help set up sidewalk displays when needed.
• Follow company policies and protect store assets.
