Job summary

Loop Neighborhood Market, part of West Coast Convenience, seeks entry-level Team Members for all three shifts across California. You’ll greet customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and keep the store clean while delivering best-in-class service.

We offer full-time and part-time schedules with shift flexibility, and opportunities to grow within the company. Candidates must be 18+ and capable of lifting up to 50 lb in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed.
• Communicate verbally and in writing with management on store operations in a timely manner.
• Ability to read, understand, and write in English.
• Perform basic math including making change accurately.
• Ability to validate identification prior to selling tobacco and/or alcohol (as required).
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders as needed.
• Remain calm and respond to emergencies per company policies.
• Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
• Work in varied temperature environments (coolers, outdoors, station).

Responsibilities

• Manage the cash register throughout the shift, keeping funds balanced and assisting customers quickly and accurately.
• Stock shelves and maintain a clean, professional store appearance.
• Provide prompt, courteous customer service to customers, vendors, and staff.
• Maintain a clean, customer-friendly store environment and surrounding area.
• Troubleshoot and resolve car wash issues as needed.
• Prepare shift reports following company guidelines.
• Cross-sell and upsell store products to boost sales.
• Escalate high-priority issues to the manager.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
