Job summary

West Coast Convenience is seeking customer-focused Team Members for Loop Neighborhood Market locations across California. The role supports operations on all shifts and emphasizes service, teamwork, and safety. We offer both full-time and part-time schedules to fit different lifestyles.

You will help customers, handle the register, stock shelves, and ensure the store looks clean while delivering best-in-class service every day.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed.
• Communicate verbally and in writing with management on store operations in a quick timeline.
• Ability to read, understand, and write in English.
• Perform basic math including proper calculation of change.
• Validate identification prior to selling tobacco and/or alcohol as required by law.
• Can lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders as needed.
• Remain calm and respond to emergencies according to company policies.
• Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
• Work in varying temperatures (coolers, outdoors, station).

Responsibilities

• Managing the cash register throughout the shift, ensuring balance and fast service.
• Stocking products and keeping the store clean and professional.
• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous customer service to customers, vendors, and staff.
• Maintain a clean, customer-friendly environment in-store and surrounding areas.
• Troubleshooting and resolving car wash issues as needed.
• Prepare shift reports per company guidelines.
• Cross-sell and upsell store products to increase sales.
• Escalate high-priority issues to the manager.
• Assume additional duties as assigned.
