Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 required.
• TABC/LACT certification required where applicable.
• Basic arithmetic and cash handling skills.
• Ability to learn new technology systems and processes.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct checkout totals by weighing, scanning, and keying items.
• Maintain accurate money count in register.
• Know product codes and promotions relevant to the ad.
• Greet customers and assist with questions and locating items.
• Encourage enrollment in Thank You Card program where applicable.
• Bag groceries and ensure items are properly packed and protected.
