Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is seeking a front-end associate to engage with customers, operate at the register, bag groceries, and help locate products. You will maintain accurate transactions and a friendly, efficient checkout flow in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include handling tender policies, ensuring accuracy, and supporting a safe store. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, with opportunities for growth within a large regional

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years.
• TABC/LACT certification where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate checkout totals by weighing, scanning, and ringing items.
• Assist customers and locate products; promote items and respond to questions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary shopping environment and adhere to safety procedures.
• Adhere to all laws regarding sales of restricted items (tobacco, alcohol, etc.).
• Bag groceries, manage receipts, and assist with customer sign-ups where applicable.
