Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a front-end associate to service customers at the register, bag groceries, and assist with locating items. You will verify prices, handle tender accurately, and promote the Thank You Card program. A friendly, efficient, and safe shopping experience is expected daily.

Responsibilities include maintaining a neat checkout area, learning new POS procedures, and upholding company safety standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years old.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to learn new technology systems and procedures.
• Ability to handle sensitive transactions with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and provide efficient checkout services.
• Bag and transport groceries, locate products and conduct price verifications.
• Maintain accuracy of tender and ensure correct checkout totals.
• Promote enrollment in the Thank You Card program and assist sign up.
• Maintain a clean, safe and sanitary shopping environment and adhere to safety policies.
