Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a friendly, reliable front-end associate to assist customers, operate checkout, bag groceries, and ensure accurate transactions. The role emphasizes fast-paced service, product knowledge, and a positive shopping experience.

The ideal candidate is comfortable handling money, learning new procedures, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace while helping customers with questions and purchases. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 required.
• TABC/LACT certification as applicable.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate checkout totals by weighing, scanning, and bagging items.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer and tender transactions.
• Greet customers and assist with locating and selecting products.
• Promote enrollment in loyalty programs and sign-up assistance where applicable.
• Keep front-end areas stocked and clean; ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Respond to customer questions and resolve issues with a courteous attitude.
