Carter Bank is seeking a Financial Services Representative to blend customer interaction with financial expertise in Martinsville, VA. You will be the first point of contact for customers, guiding them through everyday banking needs with a proactive and personalized touch.

You will handle transactions, educate on self-service options, open accounts, and refer customers to partners. Strong communication and compliance focus help build lasting relationships and support retail growth.

Formación

• Successful customer service and/or sales experience required.
• Previous experience in a retail bank or related industry preferred.
• Prior cash handling experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide a range of customer services including transaction processing and account servicing.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience through proactive engagement and trust-building.
• Identify customer needs and generate referrals to branches and partners.
• Resolve basic account/customer issues using bank resources and escalate when needed.
• Support branch operations by following processes and compliance directives.
• Participate in and support the bank's strategic plan to grow retail banking.
• Meet or exceed sales goals through targeted activities and product recommendations.
• Invest in career development through training, coaching, and learning opportunities.
• Attend bank-sponsored events and contribute to growth of new customers.
