Role Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between customers and the pharmacy, handling complaints, orders, errors, account questions, billing, and queries.
• Partner with the pharmacy to obtain necessary prescriptions for controlled drugs.
• Resolve rejections, denials, and prior authorizations related to Medicaid, Medicare D, or private insurance claims.
• Assist with onboarding prospective patients and follow-up inquiries as directed by the Pharmacist in Charge.
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding medication or resident coverage issues.
• Train staff to ensure performance standards and company expectations are met.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information.
• Assist with special projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• Kentucky Pharmacy Technician Registration or eligibility.
• At least one year of pharmacy customer service experience, preferably in healthcare, senior living, pharmacy, or long-term care.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
