Job summary

Respiratory Care Plus is seeking a Customer Service Representative to professionally assist clients and patients, route referrals to the appropriate department, and help coordinate home medical equipment services.

You will maintain client records, support billing communications with insurers, and participate in company programs as needed to improve service quality. This role emphasizes continuous education and teamwork across departments to ensure accurate scheduling and service execution.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with client/patients.
• Route client/patient referrals to the appropriate department or individual(s) in the Company.
• Communicate client information necessary to schedule home medical equipment services.
• Determine correct resolution to client complaints; take corrective action, and monitor results.
• Prepare and secure Certificates of Medical Necessity (CMNs).
• Establish and maintain client records.
• Communicate with billing department to ensure proper billing to insurance companies, contracts, other third party payers and client/patients for all products and services delivered; maintain accurate billing records.
