Job summary

HomePro Pest Control is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to support scheduling and customer interactions from our office in Chesapeake, VA. You will serve as a subject matter expert, coordinate service visits, and help ensure a best-in-class pest-control customer experience.

You will handle calls, optimize routes, and support the branch in maintaining and growing customers. Strong communication and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Customer Service or Sales preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic computer skills in software and web-based applications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• This role is based onsite and requires working from our office location during regular business hours.
• Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls to schedule, confirm and follow up on service appointments.
• Navigate a Windows-based and Web-based system to track routes and optimize schedules; training will be provided.
• Schedule appointments for technicians to minimize drive time and distance, and suggest alternative routes when needed.
• Identify customer concerns through listening and questioning and assess their needs.
• Maintain accurate customer information in the database including calls, payments and outcomes.
• Reschedule unserviced accounts within 24 hours.
• Participate in quality assurance processes and initiatives.
• Safeguard customer privacy and proprietary information
